Jury Rejects Sanity Appeal By Baby-Killing Mom

SANTA ANA (AP) — A jury has found that a California woman who ran over her infant son with the family Volvo more than 20 years ago is still a danger and cannot be released from court-ordered mental care.

The Orange County jury made the unanimous finding Thursday after less than an hour of deliberations.

Sheryl Lynn Massip had asked jurors to declare her legally sane so she would no longer have to get mental health treatment or home visits. She claims postpartum psychosis led her to kill her 6-week old son, Michael, in 1987.

A jury convicted Massip of murder in 1988 but a judge set aside the verdict and found her not guilty by reason of insanity. She has never served time in prison or a state mental hospital.

Massip is remarried and has a daughter.

Damn antidepressants. All of the school shootings were done by kids on those things. They just twist the mind until people are stone crazy!
The FDA should be on trial for allowing such monsters to rule the medical field from Natzi Germany. Total Psychiatric Abuse!

Just another antidepressant deprived neonazi wanting attention. Get a life. Get over it.

THAT’S WHAT SHE’S TRYING TO DO!! I know her personally. Sherri is not addicted to drugs – if anything, she is addicted to God, and there is no crime in that! Don’t judge someone you don’t even know.
