Wind Advisory In Effect Until Monday Morning
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Declaring that travel through the mountains will be hazardous, a wind advisory has been declared through Los Angeles county, excluding the Santa Monica Mountain range.
The advisory will remain in effect until Monday at 3 a.m.
Winds are expected to reach advisory levels (winds stronger than 35 mph) between 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Winds of 20 to 30 mph are predicted throughout Sunday and officials said there could be frequent gusting to 45-50 mph into the evening.
