JEFFERSON PARK (CBS) — A man was fatally shot Tuesday morning in the 4300 block of Arlington Avenue, just south of Jefferson Park.

An ambulance crew was dispatched at 4:23 a.m. and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.

Officials are searching for two suspects who were in a white van that was last seen heading northbound on Arlington from Vernon Avenue.

An LAPD helicopter crew was assisting from overhead.
