LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Sleek, strong, built tough, elegant and rich…those adjectives could describe the Mercedes Benz, but they also describe Emmy-winning “The Young and the Restless” star Eric Braeden who plays ruthless Victor Newman.
So, it was fitting that the German-born Braeden, a car enthusiast and Mercedes fan, would come to KCAL 9 just in time for the LA Auto Show.
CBS 2 and KCAL9 are airing an LA Auto Show special this weekend (6 p.m. Sat on KCAL9 and 6 p.m. Sun on CBS2) and Braeden took part in that as well.
He was an in-studio guest Friday on the KCAL 9 News at Noon.
Braeden talked about his more than 30-years run as daytime’s leading man on soaps’ most popular show as well as his love for all things Mercedes. He also talked about his long career including starring in the 60’s TV classic, “The Rat Patrol.”
