Driver Critically Injured And Trapped In Car After Rollover Crash

LOS ANGELES (CBS)  — Officials said a female driver was critically injured Thursday evening in a freeway crash near downtown Los Angeles.

The crash was reported at 8:54 p.m. on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway near the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The 30-year-old unidentified woman was trapped in a vehicle that had rolled over, he said.

Firefighters cut open the vehicle to free the critically injured woman, he said.
