We are enjoying a mild Wednesday with temperatures near seasonal averages, however a storm system is still slated to drop down into California by the weekend.  I was perusing our forecast models, and it looks like we can anticipate three impulses.  The first will be late Friday early Saturday morning…then again Saturday into Sunday.  There is one last hit on Monday.  Still up in the air as far as rain totals, but I would Saturday has the best bet at highest rain totals. 

On a side note…Kent Shocknek was a kid in a candy store this morning at the LA Auto Show.  He is a hardcore car guy, so I can imagine it wasn’t a tough assignment this morning.  You’ll notice on his blog the picture he used is the old Speed Racer cartoon.  It was my absolute favorite cartoon to watch as a kid.  I introduced my daughter to a couple of episodes I found online.  I went to the Auto Show for the first time last year and had a blast.  I recommend a visit if you are inclined.  It might be a nice way to wait out the rain this weekend.
