LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Caitlin Burke has become a viral video sensation on the Internet after she solved a seven-word phrase on the game show Wheel of Fortune.

Whether it was intuition or freak luck Burke stunned even Pat Sajak with her puzzling-solving skills.

On the board was a seven-word phrase that had just one letter revealed and a punctuation mark. But it was all Burke needed when she guessed “I’ve Got A Good Feeling About This.”

Burke’s fellow contestant was also left standing with an expression of shock and disbelief.

Some fans of the show have gone as far as to call Burke a “witch” or accuse the win as being staged or rigged.

Burke, a New York fashion editor, won about $53,000.

I always feel something is amiss with the Wheel of Fortune. For example, why doesn’t “bankrupt” or “lose spin” ever come up when Pat spins the wheel at the end of the show? Yet, the contestants are constantly hitting the two sites on the wheel.

  2. Ken W. says:

Could this be a reincarnated version of the “64 Thousand Dollar Question”, game show? Another scam?
