Corona Police Fatally Shoot Man During Confrontation
CORONA (AP) — Corona police have shot and killed a man they say pulled a weapon during a confrontation.
The Riverside County coroner's office says 30-year-old David Salas of Corona died at a hospital about a half-hour after Sunday's
shooting.
A police report says an officer arrived at a parking lot shortly before 8 p.m. after hearing a report of a man acting erratically.
Police say the man pulled a weapon as the officer approached and was shot. The officer wasn't hurt.
The shooting remains under investigation.
