4 Charged In Abduction Of 2 Anaheim Boys
ANAHEIM (AP) — Police have charged the father and grandfather of two boys with kidnapping them from their mother in Anaheim.
The Orange County district attorney said Tuesday that 23-year-old Abraham Fernandez and his 52-year-old father Louis Fernandez, both of Houston, are each charged with two counts of felony kidnapping and two counts of felony child abduction. The two men and two boys remain missing.
Police say 2-year-old Justin Quinones and 4-year-old Jacob Quinones were snatched from their mother outside her Anaheim apartment complex on Thursday night.
Prosecutors say two relatives -- Linda Fernandez and her husband David Nicholas -- have been arrested and charged with harboring the men and boys at their home in Monrovia later that night.
Investigators say Nicholas rented the van used to take the boys.
