SAN DIEGO (CBS2) — A hearing is scheduled next Friday in New York to determine if Chargers holdout wide receiver Vincent Jackson will miss 3 or 6 games, if he is traded during his 3-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Jackson was placed on the roster exempt list by the chargers in late August, which is an extra 3-game suspension. If the ruling favors Jackson, the Vikings could make a strong push for the standout receiver.
