It's Hollywood's favorite time of year: Oscar season! With the Academy Awards fast approaching on Feb. 24, Tinsel Town is in the celebrity spirit. Anyone who is anyone has wined and dined at The Polo Lounge. The signature bar and restaurant of the Beverly Hills Hotel regularly hosts the creme of the crop, when it comes to celebrities. A-listers such as Ben Affleck, Morgan Freeman and Lionel Richie have been spotted at this iconic venue. Oh yeah, and the food is pretty great, too! Portions are on the smaller side, and prices are on the much larger side, but this is an absolute no-brainer place to dress up fancy and party like and with the movie stars.

It's true that Skybar has sky high prices, but that's because this is a venue for true VIPs. Expect to be treated like a movie star at this rooftop bar. Enjoy amazing views of Los Angeles while you are waited on hand and foot, even if you are not a hotel guest. While you don't have to be in any big movie hits to party at Skybar, you do need to be on the guest list, so plan ahead. There are no walk-ins.

Following the likes of Kevin Bacon, Billy Bob Thornton and Russell Crowe, to name a few, many modern movie stars are also rock stars, or at least they try to be. So if you want to party like a movie star who wants to party like a rock star, the original House of Blues is where to go. Check out the Foundation Room, located on the third floor, and party with the best of them. The historic music club has hosted plenty a movie star and music star, and you can join in on the fun by becoming a member.

To dine out with lots of stargazing, be sure to reserve your table at The Ivy. You've probably read about The Ivy in magazines or heard about it in an ET interview, as this is the favorite hot spot of many celebrities. Be sure to save room for dessert -- their red velvet cake garners rave reviews, but the extra course will allow for more time with the movie stars in your company. Don't expect to eat your meal in peace because the paparazzi will be swarming, adding to the movie star ambiance.

If you've ever tuned into a Lakers game, you've probably gotten a sense of just how many celebrities are loyal to the LA team.
