The Dodgers have been giving out bobbleheads and other promotional items throughout the year to their fans. A Hello Kitty mini-bobblehead will be passed out to the first 50,000 fans who attend the the Dodgers-Diamondbacks game. Hello Kitty is dressed in her famous red bow and sporting the L.A. Dodgers uniform as well as a baseball. Play ball!

Can you believe The Wiggles have been around for 21 years? Kids were introduced to three new cast members this year and to the first female member. Original founding member Anthony Field is still the Blue Wiggle and the four have been touring across USA and Canada. The popular group focuses on child development, offering educational entertainment. "The Wiggles Taking Off" tour will have your kids wiggling in their seats and singing along to their favorite tunes.

Two Magellanic Penguin chicks hatched earlier this summer and now the pair is ready for you to "ooh" and "ahhh" over. Up until now, public access to the chicks was via the chick webcam. Visitors can view the chicks in the June Keyes Penguin Habitat where they will be hanging with their parents Roxy and Floyd. The public is also invited to help name the two penguin chicks at a live auction at the Aquarium of the Pacific's Tenth Annual Sea Fare fundraiser in October.

Reggae legend Jimmy cliff is performing at the Twilight Concert Series along the Santa Monica Pier. Cliff's latest album REBIRTH is his first studio album in seven years. Dance your way to this all ages free concert to hear his latest single "One More." Jimmy Cliff will also perform classes such as "You Can Get It if You Really Want," "I Can See Clearly Now." He will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of "The Harder They Come." The Delirians and Ethan Tucker will be the evening's openers.

The Music Center and Grand Park present architects of Air - Exxoplis. Walk through a wondrous sculpture of paths of color and a world of lights and sound. Visitors are asked to take off their shoes as they move through tunnels and are then washed over with beautiful hues and blends of color. Free Walk-up tickets are available Sept. 13, 14 and 15 at 10 a.m. Once distributed, tickets to Exxoplis will be sold out. You will be asked to remove your shoes and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The 2013 Great Wine Festival will be held at the Great Park in Irvine from 2 to 5 p.m. Regular price tickets are $75 and attendees will be treated to an afternoon of amazing wines and delicious food. Wineries include Noble Vines, Beringer and South Coast Winery. Participate in the silent auction and enjoy live music at this 21 and over event. Tickets are not available at the door.

Say goodbye to summer at Eat|See|Hear's final outdoor screening with John Hughes' classic, "The Breakfast Club." Festivities will include food trucks Schmuck Truck, Me So Hungry and more, plus a musical performance from L.A. Font. Your furry babies will be treated to free dog biscuits at the door and kids under 5 get in free. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the LA State Historic Park and tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Beer lovers unite at the Rock & Brews Restaurant in El Segundo. Local beer brewers will be on hand to serve up their cold crafts to beer fans, including Eagle Rock and Strand Brewing. Food will also be available and this event is open to the entire family. Spend the afternoon enjoying photo booths, music, activities for kids and of course cold brewskies for the adults. Rock & Brews is the creation of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons.

Taste fried chicken as its done around the world at the Food GPS Fried Chicken Festival. Sample fried chicken, side dishes, desserts, craft beer and cocktails from 11 of L.A.'s best chefs, including STREET's Susan Feniger, Mo-chica and Picca's Ricardo Zarate. Tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the door, but tickets are limited. VIP tickets are also available at $90 in advance and $100 at the door and they include reserved seating, early admission and a special cocktail created by Matthew Biancaniello. This is a 21 and over only event and a portion of the proceeds will benefit My Friend's Place, which assists and inspires homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.
