Story Time in the Boone Children's Gallery

Bring your children to explore the museum and story time lead by the Children's gallery staff at 2pm. The event will be located in the Hammer Building, level two. The event is free of charge and reservations are not required.

Whitney! Celebrating the musical legend of Whitney Houston

A tribute to the life of Whitney Houston will be on exhibit at the Grammy Museum until February 28th. Visitors get an opportunity to see rare artifacts including her Bible, yearbook and more. Learn all about the trials, tribulations and success of the actress and singer at this exhibit. Tickets are $12.95, $11.95 for children or seniors and $10.95 for children.

After hitting the voting booth, fill-up on some grub at Slaters 50/50. Guests are invited to vote between two burgers created by Founder Scott Slater and Executive Chef Brad Lyons for the burger of the month. The personalities and flavors of the burgers are just as unique as the Presidential candidates. The winner will be announced at the end of November.

The Exhibition Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology

Explore artifacts and movie memorabilia in this interactive exhibit presented by the National Geographic Society at the Discovery Science Center. This is the first US world debut of this exhibit giving the public a rare chance to see some of the world's most cherished artifacts. Tickets are $10 (plus regular admission price of $14.95 adults and $12.95 children). The museum is open from 10am to 5pm.

Pinkalicious the Musical is coming to the Laguna Playhouse stage. There is a pre-show event starting at 11:30am where children can play in a dress-up tent, get their face painted, do crafts and more. The curtain time is 7pm, and tickets are available online for $20 per child.

Families and children are invited to come and watch pumpkins soar at the 5th annual pumpkin launch. The event is designed to introduce the community to academics in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) related industries. Sixteen different teams will be launching the pumpkins using trebuchets and catapults. Food trucks will be at the event. Admission is free and the fun will happen from 10am to 2pm.

Every screening of Wreck-it-Ralph at the El Capitan will start with Ralph and Vanellope live on the stage. Following the film there will be a special behind-the-scenes look at the film. Show times are 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 9:45. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 800-Disney6. A special character breakfast with Vanellope is available on Saturday and Sunday at 10am in the Disney Soda Fountain & Studio Store. Seating is limited, and reservations can be made by calling 818-845-3110.
