Monday, February 27th

Pretend City will close to the public and open just for families with children on the Autism Spectrum. The evening is an exciting opportunity for children, parents, siblings and caretakers to have fun in an autism friendly environment. The event will be from 5:00 – 7:30pm. Families can RSVP by calling 949-428-3900 extension 233. There will be a maximum of 80 families who can attend, and there is no cost for attending the event.

Tuesday, February 28th

Have a baby on the way? Celebrate at LA's largest baby shower hosted in partnership with The Bump. Enjoy food, mocktails, networking, gift bags, games and product samples. Individual standard tickets are $50 per person, $60 after 2/1. Individual super pass is $75 per person, early entry with gift from Britax included. Couples are $75 or $100 after 2/1. Wednesday, February 29th

Put on your polyester leisure suit, platform heals and head to the Regency South Coast Village to watch the popular 1977 film, Saturday Night Fever. The show is playing at 7:30pm and tickets are available for purchase online for $7 per person.

Thursday, March 1st

Enjoy the ultimate dessert experience while devouring chocolate creations created by pastry chef Michael Owens. The lounge will feature a dream dessert buffet with displays of chocolate statues. The lounge is open weekly Tuesday through Saturday from 6-10pm, until March 3rd. The cost is $24 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).

NEA Read across America Day

"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read with a child." Celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss, by picking up a book and reading to a child on the evening of March 2nd. The National Education Association (NEA) and Random House are encouraging parents and caregivers to participate in this second annual event. There are resources available for parents to download online including a certificate of participation, door knob holder and a read/color word search.

Share in the fun and adventure of the winter to spring migration of the whales, off the coast of Dana Point. This ancient migratory ritual is celebrated for two weekends in March. There is a free shuttle service to take families to all the hands-on fun happening around town. There will be whale watching, street fairs, art festivals, exhibits, lectures, food and the famous main street parade.

Saturday March 3rd

Rain or shine this music festival for all ages will feature a long list of popular bands. General Admission tickets are available for $85 per person which includes parking, facility and charity fees. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 877-435-9849.
