Web video has become a part of our culture. If you do something as simple as login to a social media outlet, you’re bound to see videos without even searching for them. VidCon is a conference that brings together fans and creators of web video. Part of this convention is a seminar about how to createeffective video that draws the interest of viewers. This will also feature a section dedicated to gaming and gaming content.

You need only to scan the channels briefly to realize that the home and garden business has boomed. People can’t get enough of gardening ideas and home decoration and renovation. If you find yourself watching a lot of HGTV, this is the convention for you. Here you’ll find decorations for your home and plants for your garden. You’ll also find seminars on decorating and saving energy and water. Even cooking classes and demonstrations are available at this event.

Once upon a time, you probably wouldn’t have thought of weddings as an industry, but it certainly is that. Americans, in particular, spend a vast amount of money on weddings. Planning a wedding can be stressful. This event strives to make planning a little less stressful by bringing 135 different wedding vendors to one location, which saves you a lot of time on the phone and on the road. You can also see a show of wedding fashions and attend a seminar having to do with wedding planning and etiquette.

If you look around Orange County, you’ll see that people here take fitness pretty seriously. It’s not surprising, then, that the county plays host to a fitness expo. This convention features a healthy living pavilion where you can see cooking demonstrations. You’ll also find an area for kids, as well as competitions like powerlifting and arm wrestling. This event features 250 exhibitors, giving you plenty of information about what you can do to get fit and stay that way.

Technically this event isn’t in Orange County, but you don’t have to go far outside of Orange County to get there. Cosplay has really gained in popularity, and it’s fun to see just how accurate people are with their costumes. This convention features panels, vendors and a contest that will be judged by people from professional costuming backgrounds. Awards will be given based on creativity, stage presence and difficulty. Individuals and groups are welcome to enter the contest.
