Adventure Playground is only open from mid-June through mid-August each year, but it provides some great activities for kids ages five to 12. Here your little adventurer can raft, climb a rope ladder, build a fort and get muddy. Admission to Adventure Playground is only $3, so it's a great place to take a group. Plus, this place caters to kids with exhibits called Grossology. Let's face it, kids love things that we find gross, and this is the perfect spot to indulge. Also, The Discover Science Center has been known to host exhibits about "Star Wars" and other movies.
