Watch The Lakers Tune-up Vs The Nuggets

Date: Monday, October 6

The LA Lakers are kicking off the preseason this year against the Denver Nuggets on Monday, October 6th. This game will mark the return of Kobe Bryant, and is the first game in purple and gold for newly signed free agent Jeremy Lin and rookie Julius Randle. Outside of the Staples Center there's no better place to catch this game than Dark Room. Located just 20 minutes from the Staples Center on Melrose Avenue, Dark Room is stuffed with flat screen TV's that will allow you catch every minute of the game. See Jersey Boys At The Pantages Theatre

Date: Tuesday, October 7

The jukebox musical, Jersey Boys, is performing at the Pantages Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Jersey Boys tells the story of the rise and fall of the '60s Rock & Roll group, The Four Seasons. The story is told in a documentary style format with all four band members taking turns narrating the story from their own unique point of view. Musical numbers include classic songs like "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Sherry," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." Show starts at 8:00 p.m. and tickets go for $45 and up online.

Go For A Ride With Twenty One Pilots

Date: Wednesday, October 8

Two-man music group Twenty One Pilots is playing the Hollywood Palladium on Sunset Boulevard this Wednesday. These natives of Columbus, Ohio put out their first studio album in 2013 after being signed by the label Fueled by Ramen the year before. Twenty One Pilots has been nominated for MTV VMA's Artist to Watch Award as well as the AP Music Awards Breakthrough Band of the Year. Musically the band uses a mix of piano, synthesizer, drums, vocals and the occasional ukulele solo. Their first radio hit, "Holding on to You," reached number 11 on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. and tickets go for $49 and up online.

Catch A Show At The Nuart Theatre

Date: Friday, October 10

Come to the Nuart Theatre, one of three landmark locations in LA, on Santa Monica Boulevard. The Nuart has been one of America's most renowned movie theaters since it first opened it's doors in 1976. This Friday the theater will be showing "The Conformist," "Scream 2" and "Tosca's Kiss." "The Conformist" is playing at 1:40 p.m., 4:20 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. "Scream 2" will be shown at 11:59 p.m. and "Tosca's Kiss" will play at 11:30 a.m. General admission is $11 with seniors (62+) and children (12 and under) at $9.

Enjoy An Oyster Hour

Date: Saturday, October 11

Head to Littlefork on Wilcox Avenue this Saturday for "Oyster Hour." Every Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to closing Littlefork serves up oysters from all over the world for just $1.50 a plate. Oyster Hour also features $7 Sunrise Reviver cocktails, $7 Firestone draft and even a one pound lobster roll for $26. Littlefork is located at 1600 Wilcox Avenue in Hollywood, California.
