This popular two-day event celebrates Mexico's Independence Day with fun for the entire family. Marked as one of the largest Hispanic celebrations in Southern California, this event is sure to be festive. The event will consist of reading one book in English and one book in Spanish. There will also be discussion to help teach families more about each language. This weekly gathering is followed by arts and crafts, so you may even want to stick around after story time.

Bring the family and learn more about Hispanic culture while being entertained. If Spanish is not your first language, the evening can also help you and your children advance your Spanish communication skills. Be sure to have some basic understanding of the Spanish language because the stories are not read in English. This event reoccurs throughout the year, so you may want to join in the fun again.
