There's no better way to cool off than an inner tube ride down a lazy river or a waterfall shower inside a lagoon. With two distinct water playgrounds, a multi-level jungle gym and a scenic ride down a waterway, The Casitas Water Adventure offers heat relief to all ages. While there's a concession stand on-site, there's also the option to bring lunch and dine picnic style just outside the park.

Just a five-minute drive from Lake Casitas, discover Ojai, a quaint village made up boutiques, galleries, restaurants and a few top-flight inns and resorts. Known as a haven for artists, musicians and health enthusiasts, the spirited village has so much natural beauty that it set the stage to represent Shangri-La in the 1939 movie, "The Lost Horizon." Originally inhabited by the Chumash Indians who revered Ojai as a place of healing; contemporary spiritual seekers draw inspiration from the surrounding natural beauty. Whether you're up for taking a scenic hike, taking in a spa treatment, playing a round of golf or tasting locally produced wines and olive oils, Ojai will not disappoint.
