The California drought has shortened the rafting season and considerably lowered river water levels, but Zephyr Whitewater rafting is still going strong. With two major dam controlled rivers in their region, the American River and Tuolumne River, the rafting season is far from over. Zephyr is also the only outfit on the Kings River that provides a one oar-powered cargo raft for people who want to raft, but don't want to paddle, parents accompanied by small children and people with physical restrictions, making rafting a possibility for everyone. They also offer free use of wetsuits and paddle jackets for all spring trips.

The only real downfall to white water rafting is the drive to get to the location. Fortunately, Whitewater Excitement offers a luxury round trip bus service for large groups from Southern California to all of the river sites. They also have top-of-the-line equipment, wetsuits, great food and some of the friendliest and experienced guides you could hope to meet. Whether you choose a half day or full day run, or go on a three day adventure, Whitewater Excitement will make it a trip to remember.
