If you crave pumpkin well into the month of December, don't fret. Platine has you covered. The bakery sells a little something called the Pumpkin Napoleon that features a small round of pumpkin cake, cream cheese frosting between the layers and on top, in addition to a pepita garnish. December also brings the Peppermint Platino with its chocolate cookies with a layer of peppermint oil-laced cream filling and a sprinkling of crushed peppermint candies.

The Downtown bakery is the home of the ding-a-ling, a play on an old-school Hostess dessert, the ding dong. A double layer of moist chocolate cake sandwiches cream, then the little cake is drenched in chocolate ganache. Creamy puddings in a cup. There are few packaged desserts better than that. Olive & Thyme sells its specialty puddings in-store, but now, you can place an order for delivery nationwide.
