As one of the most fun holidays of the year, St. Patrick's Day is all about wearing green, drinking a pint or three of Guinness, and taking part in Irish food. We've rounded up some of the best specials LA restaurants and bars are offering this year.

Hache LA, a new age burger stand which features everything from triple cooked fries and homemade drinks to frozen custards, will be helping Angelenos make St. Patrick's Day fun this year! Before a long night of drinking green beer, head to this Silver Lake establishment, where you can not only build your own burger with classic accompaniments like lettuce, tomato and onion and more, but also kick it up a notch with other toppings like bacon, avocado, caramelized onions, portobello mushrooms and a fried egg. But, the fun doesn't stop three. Hache LA offers a gluten-free bun, along with a delicious homemade veggie patty made from toasted barley and leeks. Want to drink? Their craft beer is offered in five different choices, including three drafts of Belgian Wheat, IPA and Amber along with two bottles, one Stout and one Pilsner. Keep the green going with their mojito iced tea mixed with lime, mint, green tea and sugar poured over ice. Then, for something sweet, dig into the Habanero thin mint custard made with your favorite Girl Scout cookies and a dash habanero pepper! It's a great way to start your St. Patrick's Day off right!

So, this St. Patrick's Day, you can sip on a bevy of ice-cold, green margaritas and other frothy brews with friends. Their Beverage Director Colin Pflugradt will be shaking up the lucky green shade in the spicy Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita muddled with cucumber and jalapeño, Corralejo blanco tequila, fresh lime juice and agave nectar. Tip back a few suds with an extensive selection of beers to choose from as well, including a seasonal Mexican microbrew, and even a big bottle of Corona Familiar 32 oz. Caguama. For the best of both boozy beverages, try their SOL signature frozen margarita mix topped with an ice cold beer of choice. When you get hungry, Chef de Cuisine Tia Baker will be cooking up hearty Baja-Mexican-style dishes like the Grilled Kobe Skirt Steak with jade-shaded accompaniments; Wagyu-style skirt steak with cilantro sauce, Tomatillo salsa, grilled cebollitas and avocado. At The Raymond Restaurant, 1886 Bar is a huge hit. And, not surprisingly, they will be offering great specials for the holiday as well. Inside this cozy craftsman cottage in the sunny Pasadena foothills, they will have everything you need to ring in the Irish holiday, beginning with a specialty cocktail from Barman Peter Lloyd Jones. A lucky libation, The Tipperary is crafted with Tyrconnell Irish whiskey, Green Chartreuse and Carpano Antica. As for a little Gaelic-like grub, Executive Chef Tim Guiltinan will be serving up hearty dishes that are a perfect fit for St. Patrick's Day. Indulge in the pork, apples & bourbon plate, or their crispy pork belly served with masa pudding, apple salsa and a splash of aged bourbon. Other options include hearty dishes of succulent roasted duck with fermented black bean jus, smoked onion, grilled Kai-Lan and creamed broccoli and the Marinated Young Lamb with pepperoni roasted Brussels sprouts and horseradish-Pecorino mashed potatoes.
 
The Raymond 1886 will be open on St. Patrick's Day for lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm, and dinner from 5:30pm to 10pm, with Bar 1886 remaining open until Midnight.

The 3rd Street Promenade waffle shop will be serving up Irish-inspired specials from Owner & Executive Chef Dean Simon including a Corned Beef Bubble & Squeak warm waffle with Boar's Head corned beef, crushed potatoes and braised cabbage sandwiched between a crisp and airy BRUXIE waffle. Irish Nachos are another must order. These crispy waffle cut fries are topped with BRUXIE cheese sauce, Applewood smoked bacon, sour cream and chives. Thirsty? Sip on the Lucky Shake, which is blended with real Wisconsin frozen custard, peppermint, fresh whipped cream and a lucky four leaf clover garnish.

LA's favorite raw, vegan food restaurant is serving up something special for St. Patrick's Day! While you might not think of vegan food when it comes to this Irish themed holiday, try something healthy, and enjoy a myriad of delicious dishes from Owner and Executive Chef Jenny Ross at this Tarzana outpost. Swap out green beer for a Super Green juice blended with banana, kale, super greens, coconut and your choice of mango or pineapple. Emerald emerges in vitamin and nutrient packed plates like the Marinated Kale Salad with chopped, marinated kale, olives, avocado, walnuts and a creamy garlic Dulse dressing and the Lemon Pesto Pasta is tossed with strips of zucchini (in lieu of pasta), lemon pesto, marinated mushrooms, tomatoes and basil. For a bit more of that jade shade, enjoy their incredibly tasty fried avocado rolled tacos. They're not technically "fried," but these tasty bites of avocado, joined by tahini cheese, cucumbers, baby mixed greens and Tomatillo salsa, are rolled in a flax seed batter with spices and dehydrated for three to four hours, creating a crispy appearance and texture. Want something sweet? Their Fresh Fruit Cobbler may not be green, but it sure is incredibly delicious. Served warm with a pecan or walnut crust and fresh vanilla crème sauce, it's a must order!

LA's modern American eatery, Plan Check Kitchen + Bar, with locations on Sawtelle Downtown LA and elsewhere around the city, will be taking part in the festivities by serving shamrock-centric specials for Angelenos. In the past, St. Patrick's Day is usually honored with a brined and braised brisket (a.k.a. corned beef), but from Thursday through Saturday however, Executive Chef, Ernesto Uchimura goes the extra mile and double-smokes Plan Check's corned beef until it becomes pastrami. Plan Check's reimagined St. Patrick's Day menu items will feature their Pastrami Nosh with double-smoked pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, kimchi mustard, pickles, and a sunny fried egg, as well as a Pastrami Burger, made with a delicious beef patty, pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, pickles, kimchi mustard, and a panko-crusted crunch bun and their tasty pastrami gravy fries. The fries are made with pastrami bits, pastrami gravy, melted Swiss cheese, and chopped pickles. Thirsty? Plan Check will also be offering a Jameson Grasshopper Milkshake, which blends vanilla ice cream with Jameson, minty grasshopper cookies, and plenty of whipped cream.

Salt & Straw, the Portland ice cream joint that has taken over as the new and most popular ice cream spot in the area, will be offering a scoop (or three) of their special Pots of Gold & Rainbows ice cream at the Larchmont and Venice stores. The Technicolor ice cream will be filled with Lucky Charms' marshmallows and is available throughout March.
