Their craft beer is offered in five different choices, including three drafts of Belgian Wheat, IPA and Amber along with two bottles, one Stout and one Pilsner. LA’s favorite raw, vegan food restaurant is serving up something special for St. Patrick’s Day! While you might not think of vegan food when it comes to this Irish themed holiday, try something healthy, and enjoy a myriad of delicious dishes from Owner and Executive Chef Jenny Ross at this Tarzana outpost. Swap out green beer for a Super Green juice blended with banana, kale, super greens, coconut and your choice of mango or pineapple. Emerald emerges in vitamin and nutrient packed plates like the Marinated Kale Salad with chopped, marinated kale, olives, avocado, walnuts and a creamy garlic Dulse dressing and the Lemon Pesto Pasta is tossed with strips of zucchini (in lieu of pasta), lemon pesto, marinated mushrooms, tomatoes and basil. For a bit more of that jade shade, enjoy their incredibly tasty fried avocado rolled tacos. They’re not technically “fried,” but these tasty bites of avocado, joined by tahini cheese, cucumbers, baby mixed greens and Tomatillo salsa, are rolled in a flax seed batter with spices and dehydrated for three to four hours, creating a crispy appearance and texture. Want something sweet? Their Fresh Fruit Cobbler may not be green, but it sure is incredibly delicious. Served warm with a pecan or walnut crust and fresh vanilla crème sauce, it’s a must order!
