What girl doesn't love some spa time with Mom? The Love Me Pedicure at The Spa at The Island Hotel is a sweet pampering experience for both mother and daughter. Enjoy a decadent Love Me Ice Cream Bath, a Vanilla Purity Shower Sherbet, followed by Vanilla Purity Body Icing. The island-tropical pedicure blends juicy peach mango, strawberry, mandarin, succulent apple blossom, tamarind and coconut milk with vanilla and more. This special 45-minute Love Me Pedicure is normally an off-the-menu insider spa treatment that costs $75. For extra fun girl time, add an Ultimate Hydrating Manicure or maybe have lunch at The Palm Terrace—the new kids' Mac and Cheese will be a hit!

It's fun, quite easy and very peaceful out on the water. Mom can paddle and the little (under 7) can sit on the front of the board. Children older or more experienced can grab their own board and paddle side by side with Mom. It's an absolutely great way to pass the time, catch up with a beautiful backdrop and show the kids that you've still got it. And don't worry, you won't fall in (famous last words); no, really, it's so simple in the tranquil waters that you could even Stand Up Paddle in a dress. No swimsuit required.

Afternoon Tea at the stunning Grand Del Mar. What a classic way for mothers and daughters to spend some special time together. Enjoy an elegant afternoon in the luxury resort's Library. Beautiful music, a perfect pot of fine tea, perhaps a glass of wine for Mom, with pastries and tea sandwiches that complete the time-honored tradition. Tea is served Friday through Sunday, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Your girl will be giddy with the proper, formal atmosphere paired with sugary sweets.

Show them you're the cool mom who can hang with them in the batting cages, on the thrill rides and playing miniature golf. Or go for some go karts, bumper boats, laser tag or the rock wall and arcade. Sons (and daughters) will undoubtedly dig the day away together.

If you're a Hockey Mom (or not) and your boy (or girl, even) loves some smackdowns, you'd def be a Supermom if you score Los Angeles Kings Playoff tickets for May 10—just a few sweet days before Mother's Day. It's Round 2 Home Game 3. Just think of the quality time to enjoy between body checks and fight chants. Makes you warm and fuzzy just thinking about it.
