Best Restaurants In Los Angeles Open For Thanksgiving

Planning for the big holiday meal can put a ton of stress on just about anybody. This year, take that unnecessary tension out of the Thanksgiving gathering, and instead tune into football, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and family time by making a reservation elsewhere. More and more restaurants are staying open to serve traditional Thanksgiving dinners. These five L.A. restaurants will do all of the prep work, cooking, and cleaning up for you. Sit back and let the feast begin.

The warm hospitality at Craft is as welcoming as your own living room on Thanksgiving Day. The dining room is festive with formal seating but a friendly vibe. While the menu is still in the works, you can count on a traditional Thanksgiving dinner created by chef de cuisine John Keenan, updated to fit Los Angeles. It's a three-course holiday meal served family style. The first course consists of three dishes served to the middle of the table, while each guest selects an individual main entree, seasonal sides for the entire table and a spectacular desserts galore for everyone dining together. Bigger parties are welcome to reserve the private dining room. Prix fixe menu is $85 per person.

For those who like to kick off the holiday season early, FIG will begin serving at noon on Thanksgiving. Known for its menu, which is created around seasonal and regional ingredients, FIG is a perfect option for a dining out tradition. Prepared by chef Ray Garcia, the holiday meal is served family style and will offer a traditional roasted organic turkey and all of the trimmings (yep, stuffing, fresh vegetables, cranberry sauce and potatoes) that capture the essence of the holiday flavors. Pay $69 per person; wine and beverages are priced separately.

The rustic cuisine and wine-country feel at Napa Valley Grille promises to enhance any Thanksgiving dinner this year. Executive chef Taylor Boudreaux is offering a three-course menu. Firsts include an autumn squash bisque, kale chopped salad with black quinoa, buratta salad with proscuitto de parma, and braised quince or blue crab cakes. Select natural diesel turkey accompanied by traditional stuffing, roasted sweet potatoes, orange cranberry chutney and turkey jus or other main course choices such as pan-seared salmon, natural pork osso buco and slow-roasted prime rib. Save room for dessert as there are so many amazing choices including the butterscotch bread pudding with homemade marshmallow. Dinner is $59 per person plus 18-percent gratuity and sales tax.

The Polo Lounge will be open on Thanksgiving this year, serving a traditional fare for the holiday, featuring a four-course meal with turkey and dressing, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and a spectacular dessert. The holiday prix fixe dinner is $125 per person...and you never know what celeb you might see here.
