In honor of the end of Prohibition on December 5, 1933, each year we celebrate the ratification of the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which prohibited alcohol in the U.S. Otherwise known as Repeal Day, this celebration of the end of prohibition recognizes the end of that terrible 13 year period where American's couldn't lawfully drink. Today, it seems almost impossible that we can't just grab a beer or glass of wine at dinner and take part in some debauchery.
