With the Fall season upon us, you may be wondering where you should go to get pumpkins. Los Angeles is full of great places to get the perfect pumpkin. From the Valley to the heart of L.A. and on the city's outskirts, visit these places to get the best decoration for Halloween!

Situated just north of the Sherman Oaks Galleria, you can come by after shopping, or at any other time to take part in getting the perfect pumpkin for your porch. The pumpkin patch also features a petting zoo, a huge slide, straw mazes, a little train, a petting zoo for kids and much more. Pa's Pumpkin Patch is a local favorite for not only families, but also school field trips and children's birthday parties. The atmosphere has a very country fair type of vibe which makes it very popular. They offer a large variety of pumpkins to choose from, as well as haystacks, corn stalks and gourds. There are also many attractions at Pa's including roller coasters, rides, slides, a fun house, a petting zoo and much more. While parking and admission are free, you will have to purchase tickets for the rides. Hungry? they have a great snack bar. It's a great place for the whole family and a fun getaway for the day.

Another great Valley location to pick up your perfect pumpkin is at Encino's Tapia Bros Farm on Hayvenhurst Avenue. The farm fresh market is well known for a ton of other fruits and vegetables, but in October their pumpkin patch comes alive! Kids get to play with goats, rabbits and chickens in a petting zoo, and then pick out a pumpkin at these unique farm-to-stand spots. The pumpkin patch is free, while their corn maze, train ride, pony rides, and other activities are only a few dollars each. Finding the perfect pumpkin can be a difficult task when kids are involved. Some kids want a huge one, while others want smaller ones. Whatever one you choose to take home, you can be sure that Forneris Farms will have plenty of options. They price themselves on being home to some of the most beautiful pumpkins in the county too. Open daily, this farmers' market grows all of its produce locally including its main attraction every October during the Fall Harvest Festival which ends Nov. 1. Other activities besides picking pumpkins include their famed maze which is carved out of corn stalks that reach way above your head. The harvest festival also includes a ton of activities including tractor-pulled train rides, a pumpkin jumper and a petting zoo.
