If the best place to get reasonably priced local art is directly from the artist, then one of the best places to go is the Santiago Art Walk in Santa Ana. The third Saturday of every month between 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., artists in the Santiago Lofts open their doors for people to walk by, peruse and buy their art. There are lots of galleries on this route, but it's best to check the Art Walk website and see which galleries are planning to be open for each art walk.
