When it comes to cuts of meat, prime rib could easily be considered the king. It's tender and rich in flavor, and it's usually served in portions where it's impossible to leave the table hungry. Whether you're looking for a traditional prime rib dinner or some other options like a prime rib sandwich, try these OC restaurants.

You know a restaurant is doing something right when it remains in business for more than 35 years. Gulliver's - located directly across the street from John Wayne Airport - has long been a favorite among Orange County residents. This is a restaurant that serves traditional English-style prime rib dinners. Three cuts of prime rib are available here: the traditional English cut, Gulliver's prime cut which is fit for a king, and the Brobdingnagian, which is the biggest cut served with the bone in it. The meat here is cooked perfectly, and you sure won't leave here hungry.

Summit House is a restaurant in which you can get your prime rib fix in a variety of ways. It is available on both the lunch and dinner menus in three different ways. For lunch, try their prime rib dip sandwich featuring an English cut roast prime rib on a toasted French roll and topped with onion straws and whipped cream horseradish sauce. Under their specialties, try the roast prime ribs of beef, which is made from world famous Stock Yards of CHicago prime ribs, which are slow roasted and carved to order. Served with creamed corn au gratin, creamed spinach and Yorkshire pudding, it's more than worth the visit. For dinner, try their World famous Stock Yards of Chicago prime ribs, which are slow roasted and carved to order. At Prime Cut Cafe, you'll find a prime rib dip sandwich on the lunch menu which comes shaved and topped with horseradish and mayonnaise. Here you'll find a reasonably-priced prime rib dip sandwich on their menu. That would be good enough, but this is served on sheepherder bread and topped with caramelized onions and Gruyere. Gastropub SideDoor in Corona Del Mar has some different ways for you to get delicious prime rib. One way is a traditional prime rib dinner served with horseradish, au jus, and fries which is a great option.
