Located in Irvine, right next to the Irvine Spectrum, the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre was built in 1980 as the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater and was later renamed in 2001. The outdoor venue is home to many top concerts from the likes of Iron Maiden, Kiss, Motley Crue and the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. Make sure not to miss the upcoming concerts by Luis Miguel, Dave Matthews Band and Rascal Flatts in September.

Open to the public, the 27.5-acre Preview Park is actively programmed with outdoor concerts, dances, workshops and other special events. Also home to the Orange County Great Park Balloon, the observation deck rises to up to 500 feet and can carry up to 30 people at one time. The Historic Hangar 244 has been incorporated into the events at the park that include concerts, dances and a winter ice rink. The signature events, including concerts, workshops and outdoor movies, have been available to the public while the Great Park remains open during its development.
