With these outdoor courts, you can enjoy a great game of basketball without having to pony up for an annual gym membership.

Main Beach Park
Corner of Broadway and Coast Highway
Laguna Beach, CA 92651

There are a lot of reasons to love the basketball courts at Main Beach in Laguna. First, they are in Laguna and they are pretty much right on the beach. That means that even on the hottest days of summer, it's still pretty reasonable because you're so close to the shore. Second, the courts are always busy, so you're sure to meet some good challengers when you play here. Traffic in Laguna can get pretty busy in the summer, and the courts fill up, so you're probably better off getting there early in the day.

There are times when you want to visit an outdoor basketball court because you want the competition it provides. However, if you just want a park where you can bring your friends and play as long as you want without having to step aside for other groups, then Ridgecrest Park is the place to go. This park is beautifully maintained and its one basketball court will be great for a game (or a whole day full of games) with you and your friends.

Sometimes the places that are a little out of the way are the best - no matter what you're looking for. Bastanchury Park certainly fits the bill as a good park that is a little out of the way. This park looks like it might be a place for kids, but it also offers a really nice basketball court that will allow you and your friends to play a full-court game without worrying about who might be waiting to play next. The park is very well kept and clean, and you just might find yourself coming back repeatedly to use this basketball court.

Tustin Sports Park has just about everything you'd want in a park. In addition to a lot of open space and a playground, this park has two basketball courts. The courts are well maintained and in a really nice area of Tustin. If the courts are busy, you can take a walk around the park while you wait to play. The path around the park is almost a mile, so you can get your exercise while you're waiting to get onto the courts.

While some places are great for playing basketball during the day, other places are good if you want to get a game going after work. Brea Junior High has six basketball courts, which means you probably won't ever have to wait for one. It also has lights that are on until 10 p.m. so you can keep playing long after other basketball courts have closed for the day. Bring your crew to Brea Junior High if you want to burn off some of that nervous energy that's keeping you from sleeping as well as you should.
