Head east to Long Beach for the annual Crawfish Festival or explore your artistic side at the Pageant of the Masters or Orange County's first ever performance of the stage musical of Disney's Tarzan. Long admired for its use of creativity to display art in a unique and interesting way, this summers run of the Pageant of the Masters is in full swing. Laguna Beach's annual Festival of the Arts Pageant of the Masters features world-renowned art theatrical illusions as "living pictures" are recreated from classical and contemporary works of art. This year's theme, the art detective, will showcase 90 minutes of crimes of passion, riddles, and lost treasures throughout the history of art. A show unlike any other, this production can't be missed.

The OC Fair is back in town. Take the whole family out for a day of fun at the Fair, including fabulously unique fair food and drink, thrilling rides and amusements, carnival games, animals, entertainment, concerts, and sporting events. Food highlights include Deep-Fried Doritos or Chicken Skin (in addition to Twinkies and Oreos), Bacon-Wrapped Jack Daniels, and local craft beer at the OC Brew Hee Haw. The Offspring, Bad Religion, Pat Benatar, LeAnn Rimes, Jeff Foxworthy, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and plenty of tribute bands highlight the concert series.

The 21-year-old festival combines the sights, tastes, and sounds of New Orleans at the largest Crawfish Festival outside of Louisiana. Two stages will feature live Cajun, Zydeco, and New Orleans style music, and you can sample on authentic fare as literal tons of fresh crawfish, as well as other southern specialties, are prepared Louisiana style for this event. Kids will love the children's area, and sports fans will get their own seat in town as DirecTV presents a live sports tent.

For the first time in Orange County, the Disney animated classic "Tarzan," based on Edgar Rice Burrough's "Tarzan of the Apes," will be performed live on stage. Musical Theatre Orange County presents the show, including your favorite Phil Collins songs from the movie such as "You'll Be in My Heart," "Son of Man," and "Two Worlds." Limited engagement through July 27.
