Stores seemingly have gotten bigger and bigger; a lot of stores now seem like one-stop shops for anything you might ever need (and lots of things you don’t). However, if you like a more personal and focused experience, a boutique is a good way to go. You won’t have to fight for the attention of an employee, and you’ll find the one thing you’re truly seeking. From music to wine, these Orange County boutiques provide a great shopping experience, as well as great products.

If you had to describe this place with just one word, “cool” would be a pretty good choice. The first thing you’ll notice is the music gear on the walls. Here, you’ll find cool instruments (like a cigar-box bass for example) and amps. You’ll also find records, CDs and books. This is also home to some vintage clothing and live music, including Americana Mondays. If you’re a music fan, it’s a must that you visit and get to know this place.

You don’t have to go very far to find great wines in southern California. After all, it doesn’t take that long to get to Temecula. However, you don’t even have to drive to Temecula to find great wines. This branch of the Laguna Culinary Academy focuses only on wine and offers wine tasting daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can also take classes about wine here, whether you are just an avid consumer or a professional ultimately seeking some certification. A drive to Costa Mesa for great wine and knowledge is a pretty good deal.
