Pub, watering hole, meeting place, hole in the wall, tavern, drinking hole, bar. No matter what you call it here's what to expect: Dark lighting, wooden bar, stiff drinks, lots of beer, relaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff, casual clientele, no techno or house music and good old fashioned affordable fun. If all of this sounds appealing the pub is your fortress. Bottoms up!

Molly Malone's
575 S Fairfax Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90036
(323) 935-1577
www.mollymalonesla.com

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Molly Malone's is music as this Irish pub is famous for showcasing all kinds of bands, musicians and singers. Dark and cozy, it is a little slice of Ireland on a busy block in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles which is family owned for over 30 years. Home to many locals and loyal regulars, comfort reigns supreme here. Make sure you enjoy their specialty Irish Coffee before you call it a night! And who knows, you just might get lucky and find yourself listening to a future Grammy winner. If you are really lucky you will be listening to someone who already has one.

Burgundy Room
1621 N Cahuenga Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90028
(323) 465-7530

As most likely the darkest bar in Los Angeles, you may have a tough time figuring out what you're drinking. But, who really cares, right? Because, after all, they are good and strong and the way a shot should be poured. With DJ's rocking, The Burgundy Room plays many great tunes and a good deal of retro music too. We are talking about songs you forgot you knew, really missed and are now making a fool of yourself singing at the bar as loud as you can with your best friends and your favorite beer. No worries. Nobody will notice. This is a no frills establishment but the customers are cool, the staff polite and the doorman kind...that is huge bonus in and of itself. If for some reason you want to lay low and stay out of "the scene" this is your spot. You will need a flashlight to see who is sitting next to you at the bar but that's not always a bad thing. So drink up, sing your heart out, take a cab home and inhale a big juicy cheeseburger post-party. There is no doubt you will be craving one. No website needed or necessary. You either know it or you don't.

Brennan's Pub
4089 Lincoln Blvd
Marina del Rey, CA 90292
(310) 821-6622
www.brennanspub-la.com

This is not your average Irish pub. For starters Brennan's hosts turtle races. Bring in your turtle or you can rent one right there in the pub. Enter in the race, line him/her up on the starting line and who knows, you may just end up being the big prize winner. Perhaps a star studded collar for your beloved reptile? After all that excitement you will surely be inclined to order one of the ten…TEN…beers on draft or enjoy one of the drink specials at the Turtle Bar. The menu has pretty much everything…just reading it makes your tummy growl. And if that does not satisfy your appetite award winning Gourmet Food Trucks stop by every Tuesday night for your palate and your convenience. No need to chase one down. Play a game of pool, shoot some darts, listen to a band and you get all this with NO COVER! When St. Patty's Day rolls around you may want to pitch a tent outside the front door…the week before. Brennan's of Marina Del Rey is the pub that has it all and then some.

Sharla can be found out on the town livin' it up LA style! Her party time website is Clubbin' Productions, and you can also find her on Facebook.
