The Well

The Well is one of the greatest spots to grab a drink and get away from the pretentious and crowded streets of Hollywood. The bar is dark and ominous filled with comfy booths for everyone to get all cozied up and enjoy some of their favorite drinks at a great price. Happy hour is available everyday from 5 to 9 p.m. Who doesn't love a happy hour that goes even later than thought possible? Well drinks are $6, but if you feel like spending an extra buck for their specialty cocktails, it is definitely worth the price. The cucumber press is one of the most delicious and refreshing drinks on their menu. Made with cucumber vodka and ginger ale with a special twist, you'll feel like you're relaxing at a spa with a mask on and cucumbers resting on your eyes. They also have beer starting from $3 and house wines for $5. You can't beat it. Not to mention the food is even more incredible. The jalapeno mac and cheese is one of the most delicious things on their menu. If you like a quiet yet entertaining place, The Well is the place to go.

The Woods is another one of Vintage Bar Group's masterpieces. When you step into The Woods you feel as if you were transported from the busy streets of Hollywood to the soothing presence of nature. The entire bar's interior is filled with an array of different wood combinations, crowned with two elk chandeliers. When you look up you all you can see is the star-lit ceiling. With a happy hour that runs from 6 to 10 p.m., you can walk in and feel like you're drinking under the beautiful night sky. They have $5 martinis but the $7 S'mores Martini is one drink to get you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

The bar has live music everyday from a selection of different musicians, with no cover. Their happy hour goes from 5 to 8 p.m. and has $4 well drinks, wine and beer. Big Wangs

1562 N. Cahuenga Blvd.
Hollwood, CA 90028
(323) 469-2449

Big Wangs is a sports-bar that has one thing that most do not -- happy hour twice a day. You can enjoy the cheap prices of happy hour, let me repeat that, twice a day! From 3 to 7 p.m. and then again at 10 p.m. to close, you can try most of their delicious drinks and food on the menu. How can it get much better than that? They have a special happy hour menu where "grub" is only $5. Their "Wang-tinis" and cocktails are also only $5. If you don't feel like spending $5 you can get well drinks for a dollar cheaper. And beer for $3.50. There is no other place in Hollywood that has a better deal.
