Parking can be tough, but once you've found a spot to get your car situated, head out to the water for some great fishing. With no fishing license required, they offer day and night fishing and are open 6 days a week. The lakes are stocked weekly as well, and catfish and tilapia are stocked every Thursday. The Santa Ana River Lakes is one of the top fishing locations for beginners, kids, and veteran anglers. Unlike other remote fishing holes, the Santa Ana River Lake's location right off the 91 Freeway makes it easy to get to no matter what time of day. Boat rentals, tournaments, and 24 hour fishing are all available, with increased daily catch limits for overnight stays. For a guaranteed great time and a chance to hook a record breaker, the Santa Ana River Lakes are a sure bet. Day fishing session is from 6am to 4pm, while mid-day fishing is from 12:30pm to 11pm and night fishing is from 5pm to 11pm.
