This restaurant is historic as it was first established in Havana, Cuba in 1820 and was later renamed "La Florida" in 1898. It was later brought to California to bring Hollywood the best Cuban food they could ever have. It was and still is a celebrity hot spot because of its great food. All people are welcome to the Floridita to have their excellent cuisine, and to taste their famous daiquiri.

El Criollo established itself as a freshly modern, yet still traditional full-service restaurant in the bustling downtown Van Nuys area. They provide the finest, most flavorful Cuban cuisine at reasonable prices. The food is served quickly and the taste is still amazing. It's Cuban food at it's best.

Porto's is one of the most unique Cuban family-owned restaurants in LA. Rosa Porto (who created the Café/Bakery) had a motto: "quality is the number one ingredient in everything we do." I'm happy to say quality is what they serve in all their dishes and baked goods. Porto's Bakery & Café serves thousands of customers who come far and wide to taste their delicious dishes and desserts.

They serve the best Cuban food this side of Miami! Their menu is filled with family recipes straight from Cuba, to enrich the dishes. If you love food trucks and Cuban food, this is one truck you definitely want to hunt down.

Versailles Encino

Encino, CA 91316

My favorite of the four Versailles locations is the Encino location. Their menu includes classic dishes such as roast pork, beef tongue, sautéed oxtail, halibut in garlic sauce, and -- my favorite -- the roasted chicken marinated in Versailles Mojo sauce. These flavorful dishes have made Versailles one of LA's most popular Cuban restaurants. It's the first Cuban restaurant I ever visited in LA and continue to go to. The food will keep you coming back for more.
