The BLT at Peter's Gourmade Grill is a wonderful combination of flavors: the bacon is crisp and has a nice smoky flavor; a healthy amount of shredded lettuce is added that adds a crisp freshness that contrasts with the smoky flavor of the bacon; and the bread is grilled to perfection, which only makes the sandwich better. The sandwich is generally topped with mayonnaise, but doesn't need it. Keep your eyes open when you go to this place as it's very easy to miss.

The kitchen at The Swinging Door is small, but that doesn't prevent the cook from making a good BLT. The bacon is cooked very well and topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. It is served on Parmesan bread, which adds a nice salty flavor and sets this sandwich apart from other BLTs. This sandwich is even better when jalapeno bacon is available.

Not far from the airport is this little gem, and once you find it, don't be surprised if you become a regular. If you had to describe the BLT here in one word, it would be "big." The bacon is cooked to be super crispy, then topped with tomato and a generous portion of lettuce that gives the sandwich its size. It is served on your choice of bread (try the sourdough), and topped with mayonnaise. Like everything else on the menu here, this sandwich will keep you coming back.

The Awesome BLT here is definitely worthy of the name. This sandwich is seasoned with salt and pepper and served on Parmesan-sourdough bread. To make it even more awesome, you can add avocado for $3 or a fried egg for $2. If you think a regular BLT is good, you should try it topped with a fried egg. Better still is you can wash this BLT down with a good draft beer or any number of local beers.
