With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's time to talk Black Friday. While some find it wrong or just plain painful to get up at the crack of dawn to fight crowds, others choose to endure for the love of "the hunt" and holiday gift shopping. This year, luxury stores across LA promise to gear up for the big event. And, while most stores are hush hush until the last minute about their deals, based off of years past, we've put together a list of the best bets for luxury Black Friday shopping in LA. Here are a few places that seem like they might be tolerable and worth a day of unorthodox cardio.

Attention designer bargain hunters, this one is for you! The cultish, celebrity-loved boutique in West Hollywood always shows up as a major player during Black Friday. In previous years, we've seen 30 and 40 percent off coveted names like Alexander Wang, Kenzo, Carven and Acne. This year, the same good fortune should be in store so you can stock up on major fall-to-winter finds.

Topshop Topman
189 The Grove Dr.
Los Angeles, CA 90036

The gargantuan two-story Topshop / Topman, which easily dominates The Grove's quaint cobblestone street, is known for its fast-fashion, and Brit-inspired threads for both men and women. Last year, doors opened at 7 a.m. and men and women took advantage of such promotions a 30 percent off select styles. Stop by this year to shop a wide range of trendy looks including mens and women's clothes ranging from dresses, shirts and hats to leggings and skirts, as well as accessories and bags.

Although the legendary, star-studded retail paradise is now about half its size, Fred Segal still offers a great selection of boutiques to shop from this Black Friday. After fueling up on Umami Burger (which is still located across the street), shop boutiques like Conveyor, Nina, Aviator Nation, Fred Segal Girl and Parliament. The famed store, which is known for its collection of boutiques within the store, features everything from sunglasses to denim and more. 2013 saw 20 percent off select merchandise plus an extra 10 percent off with a special online coupon.

Camarillo Premium Outlets

Camarillo, CA 93010

While this 160-store outdoor outlet mall might be pretty packed compared to the other contenders throughout L.A., it's located about an hour from The Westside and has in the past promised some seriously reduced buried treasures. Starting Thanksgiving Day, stores will open at midnight and vary in their promotions. Over the past couple of years, many stores like Nike, Gap, Converse, Gucci, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren, Kenneth Cole and J.Crew offered up to 50 percent off outlet prices (which are already 25 to 65 percent off regular retail prices).

Uniqlo 2

Uniqlo
8500 Beverly Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90048
(424) 249-1975

A 30,000-square-foot Beverly Center newbie, this beloved Japanese chain-turned-mega retailer for men, women and children has finally hit Los Angeles promises to offer up sales this year. Other Uniqlo locations have had mixed Black Friday offerings in years past though so make sure to call ahead of time. Our hunch: Sweaters (cashmere included) and fleeces will probably be featured at super-generous price reductions. But no matter what, it's going to be a treat to score the colorful outerwear in person instead of online. And do note that the Beverly Center is granting shoppers free self-parking all day on November 28. Prices here are always very reasonable, so any sale will be just another plus.
