The stadium experience at a baseball game is certainly a pleasant one. You get to be outdoors, and the leisurely place allows for conversation to flow more easily than with other sports. Plus, there is some degree of nostalgia when perhaps you remember going to baseball games with your family when you were growing up. Nevertheless, you can't make it to the stadium for every game, not only because of the cost, but also because the Angels are out of town for half the season. If you're looking for a great place to watch baseball, try these places.

The Catch is a great place for baseball because, with its proximity to Angels Stadium, you're bound to see lots of baseball fans in here. Maybe they're fans enjoying a good meal before heading over to the game. Maybe they're fans who have decided they'd rather watch the game in the comfort of a restaurant than at the stadium. In any case, the bar area features plenty of televisions so you won't miss a minute of the game while you enjoy your food and beverages here.

While it's true that nothing matches the experience of watching a baseball game in the stadium, you can get pretty close by visiting Canyon Inn in Yorba Linda. With 100-inch televisions, you know its the real deal. Plus the beer selection is much broader than at any stadium. You'll also find a full menu that is way better than hot dogs and popcorn.

Rudy's is a great place to watch baseball for a lot of reasons. First, if you're not going to be at the stadium, Newport Beach is a pretty good location. Second, you'll find great happy hour specials every weekday from 3 to 7 p.m., in addition to the regular menu. You'll also find more than enough televisions to watch the game, so you can sit anywhere in the bar area and have a good view of the action.

Chances are pretty good that you'll be surrounded by fans here as this place fills up with fans and patrons looking to have a good time. The menu goes far beyond your standard stadium food too, and includes burgers that are made with Angus chuck, brisket, and short-rib meat. This might just become your favorite place to watch any sporting event.
