It's that time of year where spring is in the air and baseball is on TV. This MLB season is sure to be a roller coaster ride of hits and strikes as teams battle it out to make it to the pinnacle of athletic achievement: The World Series. The best way to catch a game is to see it live in a stadium, but that isn't always possible. The next best thing is venturing out of the ‘man cave' and hitting a sports bar to get in on the big screens, good grub and screaming matches with opposing fans. A good sports bar will make watching the game better than being there and a bad one will make you wish you stayed home. Catch your baseball team playing at any of these Los Angeles bars and you'll be on a winning streak. The same can't be promised for your team.

While nothing can ever beat being at the stadium for a game, you still can find a pretty decent second. The Garage has 22 big screen TVs throughout the place so you can keep track of all your teams. It also has 12 beers on tap, fully loaded slider dogs (along with pulled pork, lobster, chicken parm and cheese burger sliders and many other items) and a friendly staff. The place is big with comfy booths and tables large enough so all your baseball buddies can hang together and rivals can be far enough away.

Watching baseball is great but as with any sports game, the enthusiasm and excitement can and will wane if your team hits a downward spiral. If you're at the stadium, you'd head home; but if you're at X Lanes LA, you could hit the arcade, bowling lanes or billiard room. With 16 projectors and 25 LED TVs, you won't miss a thing this baseball season. X Lanes LA also has 23 drafts and 35 bottles of beer and classic Italian-American fare with full service throughout the place. It's a place you could bring the whole family on game day.

Sometimes there's just no substitute for a game-day stadium experience with the infectious excitement, the smells, the food and the annoying long lines. But instead of standing in long lines for food and beverages and paying dearly for it, you can pay one price (it varies according to the game) to sit in the designated section and eat your fill during the entire game. Beer is not included in the price, but Dodger Dogs are as well as popcorn, peanuts, nachos and soda.

With 13 giant HD TVs, cheap burgers, Wine Wednesdays and 'Mad Taco' Tuesdays, Goal is a definite must on game day for any sports fan. The TVs are positioned in such a way where regardless if you choose a booth, a table or grab a stool at the bar, you have a clear view of many TVs so you can keep track of the action no matter where you sit. Score big with traditional game-day fare like mozzarella sticks, nachos and wings, or something more substantial like flank and fries or a tasty chicken sandwich as well as nightly specials.
