It doesn't matter who you bring to the ESPN Zone as you will find out plenty about them right away. If you're a sports nut, you can see right through their sports enthusiasm or latch onto their knowledge all while enjoying some excellent draught beers. If the big game is on and they are watching you more than the dozens of big screens, you might just be on to something in the love department. Also, the menu is all-encompassing, so it will cover all food styles and taste buds.

Taking a blind date to an Asian-themed karaoke bar will let you know instantly if your blind date is uptight or not. If you're still confused, take a peek at the extensive alcohol offerings and maybe offer a little liquid courage before they start belting out classic rock songs. Each patron will have to be over 21, so make sure that your partner is on the higher side of the drinking age, especially if you plan on giving the nearby rooms a run for their karaoke money. If you like to cut loose and have the feeling that your blind date might as well, this might become a weekly tradition.

If soaking in the Orange County vibe is what you want your blind date arrangement wrapped around, then Don The Beachcomber is the place for you. Its super stiff drinks, including the zombie rum-based drink, and tiki-themed decor are fun and should give your beau or belle the chance to chill out a little before enjoying the surf and turf menu. Toss in some big band music and a weekly biker night and you have plenty of choices for what side of your personality you want to have on display. This is classic Orange County flavor, so you can't go wrong by bringing your blind date to a place where literally thousands of blind dates have occurred before.

Nothing says "blind date" like a great restaurant with some of the best food in the world. Taking out one of the biggest problems with a date is a definite stress-reliever, and there should be zero worry about your date's ability to order some fantastic food. You can even check out the Hop Cam on the website before getting there so you know what you want to drink before you even walk in the door, something any fan of beer will be impressed by. It's definitely in your best interest to carpool, as parking is heinous in downtown Seal Beach and you can look like a pro by keeping your date from paying for parking.

The Wayfarer is perfect place for a blind date for two reasons: you can enjoy a great band is and you can ignore the show and cozy up to the killer bar. Either way, the dim lights and loud music is just what some blind dates need if intimacy is in the air. The bartenders are personable and the drinks are reasonably priced, so you don't have to be a baller just to buy your date a drink. The added bonus of frequent local bands makes sure some conversations will spring up about the area and lead to future Wayfarer Bar hangouts.
