Located on the West side of the John Wayne Airport, the Lyon is on the site of an old 1923 plane repair facility and now houses a beautiful collection of planes and related memorabilia specific to the World War II era of aerospace. Showcasing warplanes like Douglas "Invader" contrasted with one of the first commercial transport plans in the Douglas DC-3, the Lyon also offers exhibits of historical military automobiles and motorcycles.
