If you have kids, then your days of staying out until the wee hours of New Year's Day are probably behind you. That doesn't mean that you have to stop celebrating the occasion, however. The City of Fullerton will be celebrating the 25th annual "First Night Fullerton" on New Year's Eve! First Night Fullerton is an open party which is a family-friendly event featuring musical stage performances by celebrity cover bands, rides, roaming entertainment, games, food vendors, activities and more. The festival ends at midnight as the sky lights up with an incredible aerial display of fireworks to ring in the New Year. To make this event even more appealing, you'll hear music from local favorites. This free event is from 7pm until midnight and generally draws around 15,000 guests every year! You'll find plenty of free parking at the Plummer Parking Structure at the southwest corner of Chapman and Lemon Avenue as well, and parking will also be available at the transportation center at Fullerton College, and in the city lots west of Harbor Boulevard. After 25 years, Fullerton's First Night is expected to be bigger and better than ever this year, and will offer an array of visual and performing arts as an alternative to traditional New Year's Eve celebrations. This year's First Night Celebration includes fireworks at midnight, many delicious food options, exciting zip lining, new XTREME rides, and much more. A stage will be set up as well, featuring musical performances from a rock bands and roaming entertainers.

Spend New Year's Eve 2017 ringing in the new year with hundreds of other singles. You may end up meeting the right one at this great event, which offers popular mixer games, and more! The event, which is held in the glamour of the Crest Ballroom with beautiful chandeliers, will offer a huge dance floor and offer music by LA DJ Sweat and the live band Yvette Cooke & Family Band to dance along to. Among the games, there will be Supper Shuffle, Find A Mystery Person, Ice Breaker Games, and then they'll also be offering dinner from 6pm to 8pm, and dancing from 8am to 1am.
