LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department knockeddown a greater alarm structure fire in North Hollywood.
Almost 100 firefighters responded to the fire off of the 12100 block of west Sylvan Street. According to LAFD, the fire has engulfed a 250-foot-by-100-foot vacant row of commercial buildings. Crews also responded to a previous fire at this site once before.
The fire was extinguished 44 minutes after crews consisting of 96 firefighters arrived on the scene. Although LAFD, saw some people leaving the building during the fire, there were no reported injuries. Firefighters also did not find anyone in the building.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.
