Ocean Rescue: LA County Fire Lifeguards Pull 2 People From Water In Venice

VENICE (CBSLA) - Los Angeles County Fire Department's Lifeguard Division pulled two people out of the water in Venice Wednesday afternoon after their boat ran aground.

Reports of a grounded vessel were received just after 4:35 p.m., according to LACFD lifeguards.

Lifeguards were able to pull two out of the water, as well as a dog, shortly after receiving the call, and take all three occupants in safely.

It is currently unclear what circumstances contributed to the vessel running aground.
