LAPD Issues Tactical Alert In the Wake of Derek Chauvin Verdict
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) - Officials at the Los Angeles Police Department issued a tactical alert Tuesday afternoon after the verdict of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin came down guilty on all charges.
LAPD noted that there are currently no "unlawful assemblies," but is taking proactive measures out of "an abundance of caution."
"We remain committed to ensuring the balance of public safety of all and being respectful to the community," the agency said.
