Underground Electrical Vault Catches Fire In City Of Industry

CITY OF INDUSTRY (CBSLA) — A fire erupted in the City Of Industry after reports of an explosion.

An explosion was reported at about 6 a.m. at 17851 Railroad St. in Industry. Los Angeles County fire officials did not confirm whether there was an explosion, but did say an underground electrical vault was smoking.

No injuries were reported.

The effort to put out the flames may affect railroad traffic, including Metrolink service, in the area.
