1 Injured After Building Facade Collapses In Whittier

WHITTIER (CBSLA) — One person was injured Friday evening after a building facade collapsed in Whittier.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the collapse happened at about 5:30 p.m. in the 8500 block of Norwalk Boulevard.

Fire crews searched the debris but did not find any additional victims. The one person injured was said to have suffered minor injuries.

The fire department said five businesses were impacted by the collapse.
