54-Bed Specialized Respiratory Care Unit Opens In Lancaster
LANCASTER (CBSLA) — An emergency field hospital in Lancaster is up and running and has already admitted its first patient.
The 54-bed specialized respiratory care care unit opened Saturday.
The temporary care hospital is operated by Samaritan's Purse, and will help ease the burden at Antelope Valley Hospital.
A team of 60 people from across the country will help out there, and that includes 40 medical professionals.
