Fire Crews Extinguish Greater Alarm Fire At DTLA Commercial Building

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Fire crews battled a greater alarm structure fire at a downtown Los Angeles commercial building Wednesday night.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the blaze broke out at about 5:30 p.m. in a two-story building in the 500 block of East 9th Street.

Just before 8:30 p.m., crews extinguished the fire, the LAFD said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
